أبو عبد الله محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن صالح الحجاري الناسخ المعروف بابن الدينار المنعوت بالبرهان، ودفن من الغد بالقرافة. ذكر أنه سمع بمكة من الشريف أبي محمد يونس بن أبي الحسن الهاشمي، وأبي شجاع زاهر بن رستم الأصبهاني، وأبي الفتوح نصر بن أبي الفرج ابن الحصري. حدث بأبيات عن بعض الحجارين، وكان مشهورا بحسن الخط وجودة النسخ. ومولده بمكة -شرفها الله تعالى- في جمادى الآخرة سنة تسع وثمانين وخمس مئة.٣١٠٤ - وفي الرابع عشر من شوال توفي الشيخ الأجل
