أبو العباس أحمد ابن الشيخ أبي حامد ثناء بن أحمد بن محمد بن علي البغدادي الجمعي، وقد بلغ الثمانين. سمع من أبي محمد فارس بن أبي القاسم بن فارس الحفار. وحدث، ولنا منه إجازة. ولنا أيضا من أبيه أبي حامد ثناء إجازة، وقد تقدم ذكره. وثناء: بثاء مثلثة مفتوحة وبعدها نون مفتوحة وألف ممدودة. والجمعي: بضم الجيم وفتح الميم وبعدها عين مهملة مكسورة وياء النسب.٣٠٧٠ - وفي المحرم توفي الشيخ الصالح
