أبو الطاهر إسماعيل بن أبي العباس أحمد بن الحسن المالكي المنعوت بالمكرم ابن اللمطي، بمنية بني خصيب من صعيد مصر، ودفن من الغد. سمع من الفقيه أبي العباس أحمد بن عبد الله بن الحطيئة. وحدث. وولي ولايات متعددة بالوجه القبلي والوجه البحري من أعمال الديار المصرية. سمعت منه، وسألته عن مولده فذكر ما يدل على أنه ولد سنة خمس وأربعين وخمس مئة. ⦗٥٥٤⦘ وهم بيت مشهورون بالتقدم والإمرة والولايات.٢٩٦٩ - وفي ليلة الثالث من شهر ربيع الآخر توفي الشيخ الأجل
