أبو عبد الله محمد بن جعفر بن أحمد بن علي بن مكي الأنصاري الصولي المالكي، بمصر، ودفن من الغد بسفح المقطم. تفقه على مذهب الإمام مالك بن أنس ﵁ وسمع من الفقيه أبي البركات هبة الله بن عبد المحسن بن علي بن ثعلب. وحدث. كتبت عنه أنشادا، وسألته عن مولده فذكر ما يدل على أنه ولد سنة ثمان أو تسع وخمسين وخمس مئة بصول، وهي بفتح الصاد المهملة وسكون الواو وآخرها لام: بلدة مشهورة بصعيد مصر الأدنى بالقرب من إطفيح. وكان شيخا صالحا متدينا، وهذه النسبة مستفادة مع الصولي، بضم الصاد المهملة.٢٩٦٠ - وفي العشر الأخر من المحرم توفيت الشيخة
