أبو عبد الله الخضر بن عبد الرحمان بن الخضر بن عبد الرحمان بن علي بن الحسن السلمي الدمشقي العدل الأديب المعروف بابن الدواتي، بدمشق، ودفن من الغد بمقابر باب الصغير. سمع من الحافظ أبي القاسم علي بن الحسن بن هبة الله الشافعي، وأبي طاهر بركات بن إبراهيم الدمشقي وجماعة. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة. وسئل عن مولده، فقال: في ثاني وعشرين ربيع الأول سنة اثنتين وخمسين وخمس مئة بدمشق.٢٩٤٧ - وفي النصف من شهر رمضان توفي الشيخ
