أبو الفتح نصر الله بن محمد بن محمد بن عبد الكريم بن عبد الواحد الشيباني الجزري، المنعوت بالضياء المعروف بابن الأثير، ببغداد. وله تصانيف مشهورة في النظم والنثر منها (المثل السائر في أدب الكاتب والشاعر). وغير ذلك. ومولده بجزيرة ابن عمر في العشرين من شعبان من سنة ثمان وخمسين وخمس مئة. وقد تقدم ذكر أخويه: أبو السعادات المبارك وأبي الحسن علي. وكان من الفضلاء المشهورين.٢٩٣٨ - وفي التاسع عشر من رجب توفي الملك المجاهد
