أبو عوض غشم بن مفرج بن سالم الجرائحي، بمصر، ودفن من الغد بسفح المقطم. سمع معنا بمصر من الفقيه أبي نزار ربيعة بن الحسن الحضرمي، ودخل بغداد، وحكى عن الحافظ أبي الفرج عبد الرحمان بن علي ابن الجوزي حكاية. وحدث. ومولده تقديرا سنة نيف وخمسين وخمس مئة، وكان شيخا حسنا. وغشم: بفتح الغين المعجمة وسكون الشين المعجمة.٢٩١٤ - وفي أواخر المحرم توفي الشيخ الصالح
