أبو محمد عبد المحسن بن أبي القاسم بن خلف بن رافع المسكي الأصل، الشارعي الدار، بالشارع ظاهر القاهرة، ودفن بسفح المقطم بالقرب من جده لأمه الفقيه أبي محمد رسلان الشارعي. حدث بالإجازة عن أبي علي حنبل بن عبد الله بن فرج الرصافي. وكان على طريقة حسنة. وهو ابن أخي الحافظ أبي محمد عبد الله بن خلف بن رافع المسكي المعروف بابن بصيلة.٢٩٠٧ - وفي هذه السنة أيضا توفي الأديب
