أبو الحسن علي بن عبد الوهاب بن علي بن أحمد البغدادي الصوفي الدووي سمع من أبي إسحاق إبراهيم بن علي بن إبراهيم المعروف بابن الفراء، ومن فخر النساء شهدة بنت أحمد الكاتبة، وأبي طاهر وشاح بن جواد بن أحمد الدرزيجاني. وحدث. وذكر ما يدل على أن مولده سنة اثنتين وخمسين وخمس مئة، ولنا منه إجازة. والدووي: بضم الدال المهملة وواوين الأولى مفتوحة والثانية مكسورة نسبة إلى حمل الدواة.٢٨٩٧ - وفي ليلة الثامن عشر من ذي القعدة توفي الشيخ الصالح
