أبو جعفر هارون بن العباس بن حيدرة بن بدر بن محمد بن الحسين، الهاشمي الرشيدي الواسطي العدل، وصلي عليه من الغد، وحمل إلى مشهد الإمام علي ﵁ ودفن هناك. ومولده في سنة ستين وخمس مئة. سمع بواسط من أبي طالب محمد بن علي ابن الكتاني، وأبي بكر عبد الله بن منصور ابن الباقلاني، وأبي الفتح محمد بن أحمد ابن المندائي، وقدم بغداد وسكنها، وسمع بها من أبي الفرج عبد المنعم بن عبد الوهاب بن كليب الحراني، وخطب ببغداد وقبله قضاتها، وكان حسن الطريقة متدينا متواضعا. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من بغداد غير مرة.٢٨٩٥ - وفي سلخ شهر رمضان توفي الشيخ
