أبو محمد عبد الله بن علي بن محمد القروي الأصل الفاسي الضرير المقرئ المالكي، بظاهر القاهرة. قرأ القرآن الكريم بالقراءات، وتفقه على مذهب الإمام مالك بن أنس ﵁ على شيخنا الحافظ أبي الحسن علي بن المفضل بن علي المقدسي، وسمع منه. وحدث. وأم في مسجد بزقاق البركة ظاهر القاهرة. وكانت له همة في تحصيل الكتب وحصل منها ما تيسر له مع إضافته. رضوان الله عليهم أجمعين.
