أبو محمد عبد الله بن أبي القاسم بن غنائم بن يوسف الكتاني العسقلاني الشاعر، المنعوت بالبدر المعروف بالمسجف. ودفن من الغد عند والده بأرض المزة. ومولده سنة ثلاث وثمانين وخمس مئة. حدث بشيء من شعره. والمسجف: بضم الميم وفتح السين وتشديد الجيم وكسرها وبعدها فاء. والمزة: بكسر الميم وتشديد الزاي وفتحها وتاء تأنيث: قرية من قرى دمشق قريبة منها، حدث من أهلها غير واحد.٢٨٤٣ - وفي هذه السنة توفي الشيخ
