أبو الحسن علي بن أبي الفتح المبارك بن علي بن محمد بن غنيمة البغدادي الوكيل المدير المعروف بابن فائق ومولده في شعبان سنة ثمان وخمسين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي القاسم يحيى بن ثابت بن بندار. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة، وكان من أعيان الوكلاء وكتاب الشروط على أبواب القضاة. والمدير: بضم الميم وكسر الدال المهملة وبعدها ياء آخر الحروف ساكنة وراء مهملة. وفايق: بفتح الفاء وبعد الألف ياء آخر الحروف مكسورة وقاف. وغنيمة: بفتح الغين المعجمة وكسر النون وياء آخر الحروف ساكنة وميم مفتوحة وتاء تأنيث.٢٨٠١ - وفي سحر التاسع من جمادى الأولى توفي الفقيه الأجل
