أبو حامد عبد الله ابن الشيخ الخطيب عمر بن يوسف المقدسي العدل خطيب بيت الأبار، ببيت الأبار، ودفن بها. ⦗٤٧٠⦘ حدث عن الفقيه أبي سعد عبد الله بن أبي عصرون، وأبي الفرج يحيى بن محمود الثقفي وأبي محمد عبد الرحمان بن علي الخرقي، وأبي الفضل إسماعيل بن علي الجنزوي وأبي طاهر بركات بن إبراهيم الدمشقي، وغيرهم. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من دمشق غير مرة. ومولده ليلة النصف من شعبان سنة خمس وسبعين وخمس مئة. وكان أحد العدول بدمشق مشهورا بالخير والأمانة.٢٧٩٢ - وفي التاسع من شهر ربيع الآخر توفي الشيخ الرشيد
