أبو المكارم عبد الخالق بن أبي المعالي بن محمد بن عبد الواحد الأراني الشافعي المنعوت بالبهاء، ودفن من الغد بجبل قاسيون، وكان الجمع في جنازته كثيرا جدا. وكان من الفقهاء الورعين المنقطعين، ودرس بخلاط مدة، وانتقل إلى دمشق واستوطنها إلى حين وفاته. وأران: بفتح الهمزة وتشديد الراء المهملة وفتحها وبعد الألف نون، إقليم مشهور بين أذربيجان وأرمينية ومن مدنه بيلقان وجنزة. وبناحية قزوين قلعة مشهورة يقال لها أيضا أران.٢٦٦٩ - وفي ليلة الثامن والعشرين من شوال توفي الشيخ
