أبو عبد الله محمد بن أبي العباس أحمد بن محمد بن علي القادسي الكتبي، ⦗٣٩٢⦘ ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بمقبرة باب حرب. سمع من أبي الفتح عبيد الله بن شاتيل وغيره. وحدث. وكان له اعتناء بالتواريخ وغير ذلك من الحوادث. وقد تقدم ذكر والده أبي العباس أحمد، وهو منسوب إلى القادسية (قرية) بين سامراء وبغداد، ليس من قادسية الكوفة التي كانت بها الوقعة المشهورة في أيام عمر بن الخطاب ﵁.٢٥٩٨ - وفي الحادي عشر من رجب توفي الوزير الأجل
