أبو الكرم محمد ابن الشيخ أبي الفرج دلف بن كرم بن فارس العكبري الأصل البغدادي المولد والدار القصار، ببغداد، ودفن بباب حرب. ومولده، ببغداد سنة إحدى وستين وخمس مئة. سمع بإفادة أبيه من أبي محمد عبد الله بن أحمد ابن النرسي، وأبي القاسم يحيى بن ثابت بن بندار، وأبي عبد الله مسلم بن ثابت ابن النحاس، وغيرهم. وحدث. ووالده أبو الفرج دلف سمع الكثير من غير واحد، وحدث، وكان مفيدا، وهو بضم الدال المهملة وفتح اللام وبعدها فاء.٢٥٧٨ - وفي الخامس من شهر ربيع الأول توفي الشيخ الأجل
