أبو محمد عبد الله بن أيدغمش بن أحمد الدمشقي المعروف بالمارديني بمكة -شرفها الله تعالى-. صحب جماعة من المشايخ، وسلك طريقة الفقراء وانقطع إليه جماعة، ورزق قبولا خصوصا من الأمراء، وكان كثير الإقدام عليهم والإغلاظ لهم، وسمع من الحافظين: أبي محمد عبد الغني بن عبد الواحد المقدسي وأبي نزار ربيعة بن الحسن الحضرمي، وانقطع في آخر عمره بمكة إلى حين وفاته.٢٥٦٧ - وفي الثامن من المحرم توفي الشيخ
