أبو القاسم عبد الرحمان بن أبي محمد عبد الوهاب بن الحسن بن علي المنعوت بالزكي المعروف بابن وهيب القوصي، بحماة. قرأ الأدب على شيخنا أبي الحسين يحيى بن عبد الله النحوي، وكتب على فخر الكتاب، وقال الشعر الجيد، وكتب الخط الحسن. وكان حاد القريحة. وحدث بشيء من شعره. سمعت منه شيئا، وسمع مني. وهو منسوب إلى قوص المدينة المشهورة من صعيد مصر الأعلى.٢٥٦٤ - وفي هذه السنة أيضا توفي الشيخ الصالح
