أبو العباس أحمد بن عبد السيد بن شعبان بن محمد بن بزوان بن جابر بن قحطان الإربلي المولد والمنشأ المصري الدار المنعوت بالصلاح، بمدينة الرها، ودفن من يومه بالمقبرة المعروفة بمقبرة باب حران، وكنت إذ ذاك بحران، ثم نقل من هناك إلى مصر. حدث بشيء من شعره. سمعت منه ببعض بلاد حمص. ومولده في شهر ربيع الآخر سنة اثنتين وسبعين وخمس مئة بإربل، ذكر أنه رآه بخط والده عبد السيد بن شعبان. وكان اتصل بخدمة مظفر الدين بن زين الدين صاحب إربل مدة، ثم توجه إلى الشام ثم اتصل بخدمة الملك الكامل، وتقدم وترسل عنه.٢٥٦١ - وفي الثامن والعشرين من ذي الحجة توفي القاضي الفقيه
