محمد بن أبي بكر بن علي الموصلي الشافعي المنعوت بالنجم المعروف بابن الخباز، بحلب، ودفن من الغد. ومولده في التاسع والعشرين من شهر ربيع الأول سنة سبع وخمسين وخمس مئة. تفقه على مذهب الإمام الشافعي ﵁ وتقدم في معرفته، وانقطع إلى الفقيه البهاء المعروف بابن شداد، وقدم معه مصر وأقام بها مدة. واشتغل عليه جماعة، وانتفع به. وكان فاضلا.٢٥٥٨ - وفي الرابع عشر من ذي الحجة توفي الشيخ المنتخب
