أبو بكر محمد بن عمر بن أبي بكر بن عبد الله المعروف بابن النخال البغدادي المقرئ الخياط، ببغداد، ودفن بباب حرب من الغد. ومولده في شوال سنة ثلاث وخمسين وخمس مئة. ⦗٣٥٣⦘ سمع من أبي الفتح محمد بن عبد الباقي بن أحمد، وأبي العباس أحمد بن مسعود العباسي. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من بغداد غير مرة، إحداهن في ذي الحجة سنة عشرين وست مئة. وكان مشتغلا بكسبه ويعلم الناس القرآن الكريم ملازما لبيته. وأخوه أبو محمد عبد الله بن عمر بن أبي بكر البواب الأزجي، سمع من شهدة بنت الإبري. وكان شيخا صالحا. والنخال: بفتح النون وتشديد الخاء المعجمة وبعد الألف لام.٢٤٩٥ - وفي الخامس والعشرين من ذي القعدة توفي الشيخ
