أبو طاهر إسماعيل بن سليمان بن أيداش الحنفي المنعوت بالشمس المعروف بابن السلام، ودفن من الغد بسفح جبل قاسيون. حدث عن الحافظين: الصائن أبي الحسن هبة الله بن الحسن بن هبة الله الشافعي وأبي محمد عبد الخالق بن أسد بن ثابت الحنفي. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من دمشق سنة سبع عشرة وست مئة. وكان منقطعا ملازما للصلوات قليل التردد إلى أبناء الدنيا مقبول القول عند الحكام.٢٤٩٢ - وفي الحادي والعشرين من ذي القعدة توفي الشيخ الأجل الصالح
