أبو بكر عبد الرحمان بن محفوظ بن أبي بكر بن أبي غالب بن البزن البغدادي المقرئ الحنبلي، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بمقبرة الإمام أحمد ﵁ وقد جاوز الستين. سمع من أبي شاكر يحيى بن يوسف بن أحمد السقلاطوني، وأبي الحسين عبد الحق بن عبد الخالق بن أحمد بن يوسف، وفخر النساء شهدة بنت الإبري. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من بغداد غير مرة إحداهن في المحرم سنة أربع وعشرين وست مئة. ⦗٣٤٤⦘ والبزن: بفتح الباء الموحدة وزاي مفتوحة ونون.٢٤٧٥ - وفي الخامس عشر من رجب توفي الشيخ الصالح
