أبو الربيع سليمان بن محمود بن أبي غالب الدمشقي المنعوت بالفخر الكاتب، بظاهر حران، ودفن هناك، وقد علت سنه. اشتغل بالكتابة بدمشق، وبرع فيها. وكان وقورا حسن السمت كثير الصمت مذكورا بالإقبال على ما يعنيه. كتب في ديواني الإنشاء العادلي والكاملي مدة. كتبت عنه شيئا من شعره وشعر غيره.٢٤٥٤ - وفي ليلة الحادي والعشرين من شهر ربيع الأول توفي الأديب الأجل
