أبو الفضل محمد بن المبارك بن علي المعروف بابن فاير البغدادي الوكيل المدير على أبواب القضاة ومولده سنة ستين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي الفرج عبد المنعم بن عبد الوهاب بن كليب. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا. وأخوه أبو الحسن علي بن المبارك، سمع من أبي القاسم يحيى بن ثابت بن بندار، وحدث، ولنا منه إجازة. وفاير: أوله فاء وبعد الألف ياء آخر الحروف وآخره راء.٢٤٤٩ - وفي ليلة الحادي والعشرين من صفر توفي الشيخ
