أبو محمد عبد الرحمان بن سلامة بن نصر بن مقدام المقدسي، بدمشق، ودفن بالجبل. ومولده سنة ثلاث وخمسين وخمس مئة. حدث عن أبي المعالي عبيد الله بن عبد الرحمان بن صابر السلمي، وأبي عبد الله محمد بن حمزة بن محمد بن أبي جميل القرشي، وأبي المجد الفضل بن الحسين بن إبراهيم المعروف بابن البانياسي، وغيرهم. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من دمشق غير مرة. وكان دينا صالحا قليل الكلام.٢٤٤٦ - وفي ليلة الثامن من صفر توفي الشيخ الأجل
