    فخر الدين أبو الفتح عثمان ابن قزل الكاملي، بحران، ودفن بظاهرها. ومولده بحلب سنة إحدى وستين وخمس مئة. وهو أحد أمراء الدولة الكاملية والمتقدمين فيها، وكان راغبا في فعل الخير مبسوط اليد بالصدقة والإسعاف، متفقدا لأرباب البيوت وغيرهم. ووقف المدرسة المعروفة به بالقاهرة، والمسجد المقابل لها، وكتاب السبيل والرباط بمكة -شرفها الله تعالى- والرباط بسفح المقطم، وغير ذلك. ووصى بوصية ذكر فيها كثيرا من أنواع البر.٢٤٣٢ - وفي الرابع والعشرين من ذي الحجة توفي الفقيه الأجل
