أبو المناقب حسام بن غزي بن يونس الشافعي المعروف بالعماد المحلي، بدمشق. تفقه على مذهب الإمام الشافعي ﵁ على الفقيه أبي الفتح محمد بن محمود الطوسي المنعوت بالشهاب، بمصر. وسمع من أبي القاسم هبة الله بن علي بن سعود الأنصاري البوصيري، وسكن دمشق مدة، وحدث بها عن البوصيري وعن أبي يعقوب يوسف بن هبة الله ابن الطفيل. وكان متأدبا فاضلا كثير المحفوظات والنوادر. ولنا منه إجازة.٢٣٨١ - وفي ليلة سلخ شهر ربيع الأول توفي الشيخ الفقيه الصالح
