أبو الرضا حمزة ابن الشيخ أبي العباس أحمد ابن الشيخ أبي البركات إسماعيل بن حمزة بن المبارك بن حمزة بن عثمان بن الحسين بن محمد بن عبد الرحمان البغدادي الأزجي الطبال، ببغداد ودفن بمقبرة الإمام أحمد –﵁. سمع من أبي محمد ظاعن بن محمد بن محمود الزبيري، وأبوي القاسم: ذاكر بن كامل ويحيى بن أسعد بن بوش، وأبي الفرج عبد المنعم بن عبد الوهاب بن كليب، وغيره. وله شعر. وحدث، هو، وأبوه، وجده، وكان أبوه متقدما على الطبالين بدار الخلافة المعظمة في أوقات الصلوات.٢٣٥٧ - وفي سلخ ذي القعدة توفي الشيخ الأجل الفاضل
