أبو أحمد محمد ابن الشيخ أبي حامد أحمد بن أبي الفتح بن أبي غالب البغدادي القطيعي المعروف بالمسدي، بمدينة رسول الله –ﷺ. ⦗٢٨٣⦘ سمع من أبي شاكر يحيى بن يوسف بن أحمد السقلاطوني. وحدث. وكان مولده في سنة ستين وخمس مئة. ولنا منه إجازة، كتب بها إلينا من بغداد، وكان حج وأقام بمدينة رسول الله –ﷺ مريضا فأدركه أجله بها. ووالده أبو حامد أحمد سمع من أبي المعالي أحمد بن منصور ابن الغزال، وحدث عنه. والمسدي: بضم الميم وفتح السين المهملة وتشديد الدال المهملة وكسرها.٢٣٣١ - وفي الثالث من شهر ربيع الأول توفي الشيخ الصالح
