أبو القاسم محمود بن محمد بن إبراهيم بن محمد العلوي الحسيني، بدمشق. سمع من أبي محمد عبد الرزاق بن نصر بن المسلم النجار، وأبي الحسين أحمد بن حمزة بن علي السلمي المعروف بابن الموازيني، وأبي الفرج يحيى بن محمود الثقفي، وغيرهم. ومولده سنة أربع وسبعين وخمس مئة. ⦗٢٧٨⦘ وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة، كتب بها إلينا من دمشق في جمادى الآخرة سنة ست وعشرين وست مئة.٢٣٢٣ - وفي الثالث عشر من المحرم توفي الشيخ
