أبو عبد الله محمد بن علي بن عبد الله البغدادي الفوطي المقرئ، ببغداد، ودفن بمقبرة الإمام أحمد ﵁. سمع من أبي الحسين عبد الحق بن عبد الخالق بن يوسف، وأبي الفتح عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن شاتيل. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة، كتب بها إلينا من بغداد غير مرة، إحداهن في سنة أربع وعشرين وست مئة. وكان حسن الطريقة متدينا مشهورا بالأمانة. والفوطي: بضم الفاء وفتح الواو وكسر الطاء المهملة.٢٣٠٣ - وفي شهر رمضان توفي الشيخ الصالح
