أبو المظفر، ويقال: أبو الفتح مسعود بن أبي البر صدقة بن علي بن مسعود الأنصاري الأوسي -بالسين المهملة- البغدادي الكاتب، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بمقبرة الزرادين. ومولده في سنة ست وستين وخمس مئة. سمع بإفادة أبيه من فخر النساء شهدة بنت أحمد الكاتبة. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة، كتب بها إلينا من بغداد غير مرة، منها ما هو في (ذي القعدة) سنة عشرين وست مئة.٢٢٩٧ - وفي ليلة الثالث من شعبان توفي الشيخ الفاضل
