أبو عبد الله محمد بن النفيس بن منجب بن أبي بكر البغدادي العدل المعروف بابن الرزاز، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بباب حرب. ومولده في صفر سنة ست وستين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي عبد الله محمد بن المبارك ابن الحلاوي، وأبي القاسم يحيى بن أسعد ابن بوش، وأبي الفرج عبد المنعم بن عبد الوهاب. ⦗٢٦٦⦘ وحدث. والرزاز: بفتح الراء المهملة وتشديد الزاي وفتحها وبعد الألف زاي أخرى منسوب إلى بيع الرز أو عمله. فأما أسلم بن سهل الحافظ الرزاز صاحب "تاريخ واسط" فهو منسوب إلى الرزاز، من المحلة السفلى من واسط، مسجده هناك وداره.٢٢٩٥ - وفي الثامن عشر من رجب توفي الفقيه الإمام
