أبو محمد عبد العزيز بن محمود بن عبد الرحمان المالكي المعروف بالعصار، بمصر، ودفن من يومه بسفح المقطم. تفقه على مذهب الإمام مالك بن أنس ﵁ واشتغل بعلم الحديث، وأقبل عليه إقبالا كثيرا، واختصر كتاب الحميدي في "الجمع بين الصحيحين" وغير ذلك. وصحب جماعة من الصالحين، وكتب بخطه كثيرا، وجاور بمكة -شرفها الله تعالى- مدة. وكان على طريقة حسنة يؤثر الانفراد عن الناس وترك ما لا يعنيه، وما علمته حدث بشيء.٢٢٩٢ - وفي ليلة السابع والعشرين من جمادى الآخرة توفي الشيخ
