أبو عبد الله محمد بن عمر بن إبراهيم بن محمد البغدادي الظفري التاجر الوراق المعروف والده بالذهبي، ودفن من يومه بمقبرة معروف الكرخي ﵁. ومولده في ذي القعدة سنة أربع وأربعين وخمس مئة، ويقال: سنة خمس وأربعين. سمع من أبي القاسم هبة الله بن الحسن بن هلال الدقاق، وفخر النساء شهدة، وغيرهما. وحدث. وهو منسوب إلى الظفرية المحلة المشهورة بشرقي بغداد كان يسكنها ويؤم بها في مسجد. وكان خيرا مقبلا على ما يعنيه قليل المخالطة للناس.٢٢٨٠ - وفي التاسع والعشرين من صفر توفي (الشيخ)
