أبو المجد فاضل بن نجا بن منصور، المخيلي الأصل، الإسكندراني المولد والدار والوفاة العدل المنعوت بالأكمل ⦗٢٥٤⦘ ومولده سنة ثمان وخمسين وخمس مئة. سمع من الحافظ أبي طاهر أحمد بن محمد الأصبهاني. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة، كتب بها إلينا من ثغر الإسكندرية غير مرة، منها ما هو في صفر سنة ست عشرة وست مئة. ومخيل: بفتح الميم وكسر الخاء المعجمة وسكون الياء آخر الحروف وبعدها لام: موضع بقرب برقة.٢٢٦٨ - وفي ليلة الحادي عشر من ذي الحجة توفي الشيخ
