أبو الحسن محمد بن أبي الفرج محمد بن أبي حرب بن عبد الصمد ابن القرشي البغدادي الشاعر الكاتب، ⦗٢٤٦⦘ ببغداد، ودفن بالوردية. ومولده في الثاني عشر من شهر ربيع الأول، أو الآخر، سنة أربع وأربعين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي محمد محمد بن أحمد بن عبد الكريم ابن المادح، وأبي الفتح محمد بن عبد الباقي بن أحمد، وأبي طالب المبارك بن علي بن محمد بن خضير، وغيرهم. وحدث، وقال الشعر الجيد، وله (ديوان) شعر. وكان فاضلا. ولنا منه إجازة، كتب بها إلينا من بغداد غير مرة، إحداهن في شهر ربيع الآخر سنة تسع عشرة وست مئة.٢٢٤٧ - وفي ليلة الخامس والعشرين من جمادى الآخرة توفي الشيخ الفقيه
