أبو زكريا يحيى بن المظفر بن الحسن بن بركة بن محرز البغدادي الحنفي، ببغداد، ودفن بداره. ومولده سنة ست وثلاثين وخمس مئة. تفقه على مذهب الإمام أبي حنيفة –﵁ وسمع من أبي المعالي محمد بن محمد بن محمد ابن اللحاس العطار، وأبي الفضل أحمد بن صالح بن شافع الجيلي، وأبي المظفر محمد بن أحمد بن علي الخطيب المعروف بابن التريكي، وغيرهم. وحدث. وأفتى، ودرس في غير موضع. وكان من أعيان الفقهاء الحنفية، وله مصنفات. وكان ذا لسان وعبارة. ولنا منه إجازة، كتب بها إلينا من بغداد غير مرة، إحداهن في المحرم سنة أربع وعشرين وست مئة.٢٢٢٠ - وفي الثالث عشر من ذي الحجة توفي الشيخ
