أبو الفتح محمد بن أبي المعالي النفيس بن أبي الفتح محمد بن عطاء البغدادي الصوفي، ببغداد، ودفن بباب أبرز. ومولده في ليلة الثاني والعشرين من جمادى الآخرة سنة اثنتين وأربعين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي الوقت عبد الأول بن عيسى السجزي (صحيح) الإمام أبي عبد الله البخاري، وحدث به. ولنا منه إجازة، كتب بها إلينا من بغداد غير مرة، إحداهن في ذي القعدة سنة عشرين وست مئة. وكان من عباد الله الصالحين.٢٢١٤ - وفي العشر الوسط من ذي القعدة توفي الشريف الأجل
