أبو العز أحمد ابن الشيخ الأجل أبي المظفر (محمد) بن أبي القاسم عبد الله بن محمد بن المعمر بن جعفر، البغدادي، ببغداد، ودفن بباب التبن. سمع من أبي طالب المبارك بن علي بن (محمد) بن خضير. ⦗١٧٩⦘ ووالده أبو المظفر تولى ديوان الزمام. وعمه أبو الفضائل يحيى سمع من غير واحد، وحدث، وكان من أرباب المناصب، وولي (نظر) المخزن المعمور، وناب في الوزارة.٢١٠٨ - وفي ليلة السابع والعشرين من جمادى الآخرة توفي الشيخ الصالح
