أبو حفص عمر بن علي بن محمد بن قشام الحلبي الدارقطني -من أهل دار القطن: محلة بحلب- ومولده في السابع والعشرين من شهر رمضان سنة ثلاث وأربعين وخمس مئة. سمع بحلب من أبي بكر محمد بن ياسر الجياني، وغيره. ورحل إلى أصبهان وذكر أنه كان يحضر مجلس العجلي. وصنف تصانيف، ودرس بحلب. ولنا منه إجازة، كتب بها إلينا من حلب في جمادى الأولى سنة عشرين وست مئة. وقشام: بضم القاف وفتح الشين المعجمة وبعد الألف ميم.٢١٠٣ - وفي ليلة الرابع والعشرين من جمادى الأولى توفي الشيخ
