أبو جعفر عبد الله ابن الشريف أبي الفتح نصر الله بن هبة الله بن عبد الله بن الحسن بن محمد بن صالح، الهاشمي البغدادي المعروف بابن شريف الرحبة، ببغداد، ودفن بباب أبرز. ومولده في الثالث من صفر سنة أربعين وخمس مئة. سمع (الصحيح) للإمام أبي عبد الله محمد بن إسماعيل البخاري –﵁ من أبي الوقت عبد الأول بن عيسى. وسمع من فخر النساء شهدة بنت الإبري. وحدث، ولنا منه إجازة، كتب بها إلينا من بغداد غير مرة، إحداهن في شهر ربيع الآخر سنة تسع عشرة وست مئة.٢٠٦٩ - وفي ليلة الحادي والعشرين من شهر رمضان توفي
