أبو الحسن علي بن أبي الفضائل الحسين بن علي بن أبي البدر، الواسطي الأصل، البغدادي الدار، العدل الكاتب، ببغداد، ودفن من الغد بمقبرة الزرادين بالمأمونية. ومولده في المحرم سنة ستين وخمس مئة. سمع ببغداد من جماعة من الشيوخ. وهو من بيت معروف بالكتابة والخدم الديوانية.١٩٣١ - وفي ليلة الثاني أو الثالث من جمادى الآخرة توفي الشيخ
