أبو محمد عبد الله بن عمر بن عبد الله، الشافعي قاضي اليمن، بدمشق، وصلي عليه بجامعها وخارج باب الصغير. ومولده سنة ثلاثين وخمس مئة ظنا. سمع بالإسكندرية من الحافظ أبي طاهر أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد الأصبهاني، وسمع من غيره. وكان توجه من دمشق صحبة شمس الدولة توران شاه أخي الملك الناصر صلاح الدين إلى اليمن وأم به في الصلوات وتقدم عنده واختص به وولاه قضاء اليمن، وحصلت له دنيا. وعاد إلى دمشق، وحدث بها. ولنا منه إجازة كتب بها إلينا من دمشق غير مرة.١٩٢٣ - وفي الحادي عشر من شهر ربيع الأول توفي الشيخ الصالح
