أبو محمد إسماعيل بن الحسين بن يعقوب، البغدادي الحربي المعروف بابن اللبادي ⦗٨٩⦘ ومولده بعد الخمسين وخمس مئة. سمع من أبي الفتح محمد بن عبد الباقي بن أحمد. وحدث. ولنا منه إجازة، كتبت لنا عنه من بغداد في شهر ربيع الآخر سنة تسع عشرة وست مئة. واللبادي: بضم اللام وتشديد الباء الموحدة وبعد الألف دال مهملة وياء النسبة. فأما القاضي محمد بن طاهر بن عبد الرحمان السمرقندي فهو لبادي، بفتح اللام والباقي مثله، وهو منسوب إلى سكة اللبادين، وهي محلة بسمرقند.١٩٠٦ - وفي ليلة الخامس من ذي الحجة توفي الشيخ
