أبو محمد، ويقال: أبو الحسن، علي بن أبي بكر بن إدريس، الإدريسي الروحائي المعروف بالبعقوبي، بالروحاء، ودفن من الغد برباطه. سمع من الفقيه أبي محمد عبد القادر بن أبي صالح الجيلي. وصحب جماعة من الصالحين منهم علي ابن الهيتي، وغيره. وحدث. والروحاء: قرية قريبة من بعقوبا. وبعقوبا: بليدة على مسيرة يوم من بغداد. ونسب بالإدريسي إلى جده إدريس. وفي الرواة: إدريس غير واحد، وهم منسوبون إلى أجدادهم.١٩٠٥ - وفي الثاني من ذي الحجة توفي الشيخ
