أبو الذكاء ورد بن أبي المكارم حاتم بن عبد الغالب بن سلامة بن إبراهيم بن أحمد، النحوي المؤدب بالقاهرة، ودفن بسفح المقطم. سمع من العلامة أبي محمد عبد الله بن بري، واشتغل بالعربية، وله شعر. وحدث. سمعت منه، وسألته عن مولده، فقال: في سابع شهر رمضان سنة ست وأربعين وخمس مئة بالقاهرة. وكان من أهل الخير، يعلم الصبيان بالقاهرة.١٧٧١ - وفي السابع من ذي الحجة توفي الشيخ الأجل
