أبو بكر محمد بن أبي طاهر المؤمل بن أبي القاسم نصر بن المؤمل، القبابي الأصل، البعقوبي المولد والدار، ببعقوبا، ودفن من الغد هناك. ومولده سنة أربعين وخمس مئة. دخل بغداد مرارا، وسمع بها من أبي الوقت عبد الأول بن عيسى، والشريف أبي الفتوح محمد بن المطهر الفاطمي، وغيرهما. وحدث. وكان يذكر أنه من ولد الليث بن نصر بن سيار الشيباني. والقبابي: بكسر القاف وباء موحدة مخففة وبعد الألف مثلها مكسورة، نسبة إلى قرية تعرف بقباب ليث قريبة من بعقوبا. والقباب: محلة بنيسابور نسب إليها أيضا. وقباب سمرقند: نسب إليها أيضا.١٧٤٧ - وفي جمادى الأولى توفي الإمام العلامة شيخ الشيوخ صدر الدين
